These words are spoken by Lady Redchester to Lord Redechester. She says these words in order to create sympathy in his heart so that e may be hindered form stealing the Christmas gifts. She requests Lord Redechster to tell the password to Wolf so that he may open the safe. She further adds, “We don’t want to ruin his Christmas …” these words or Lady Redetected are ironical as for the Wolf whose Christmas may become enjoyable at the cost of the joy of Sydney family.
