These lines are spoken by Wolf while answering the question of Bishop but Wolf’s face is towards Lattice. He actually utters his words in response of Bishop’s question. When Bishop advises him to leave his notorious profession and adopt an honorable one, he at once replies that he does not want to change his profession and resort to any other for example, breeding rabbits. Tell him the password, Rochester. He has done his best. We don’t want to ruin his Christmas.
